The point of Dog Training Collars

Dog collars were used as an identification, if a dog was lost or strayed away. It carried the name of his owner and address. Today dog collars come with many gadgets which are helpful to train a dog and help him to obey orders.

A puppy is like a small kid and should be taught good manners. A dog must be trained to obey uncomplicated words like stand, wait, go, come, quite etc. At first he will not understand but will learn soon. All the time reward him when he follows the rules by saying, 'Good Dog' and patting him. Teaching him the basic commands will help you to operate your dog when you go outside with him in the park or streets and every one in the public places will feel safe. But for training him not to chew things, stray away from your house limits, barking at an unhourly time is difficult. Here you can use the Dog Training Collars. It is an electronic system, the sensors are fitted colse to the fence in which you want your dog confined. The transmitter with a mic is fitted in the dog's collar. There are many types of collars which are used to distract your dog.

1 ) The shock collar can be controlled automatically and is also supplied with a remote control. When it barks an automatic signal is conveyed to the receiver in the collar which releases a mild shock. Big dogs which are kept by old people for protection can be very well controlled by using this shock collar. A trainer also uses this collar to train and operate wild and aggressive dog.

2 ) The citronella collar activates when a dog barks by shooting a small spray of citronella in front of the dogs nose, and distracts him. Citronella is not harmful but its smell just irritates the dog.

3 ) The ultrasonic collars delivers an ultrasonic sound when a dog barks. This sound is not heard by human but dog hears it and finds it very annoying and stops barking.

These Dog training collars also keep the dogs from crossing the fence. Whenever a dog tries to pass by the fence the sensor sends a beep signal and the beeper begins beeping and avoids the dog from not crossing but if it still disobeys then automatically a shock or a spray or an ultrasound is released to distract the dog. After some time the dog will start to obey, in order to spare himself from someone else spray, shock or an ultrasound.

A dog can move freely in the confinement area, and be safe from getting hit by a car and the owner can also remain assured that the dog is safe. His barking is also controlled and no one will be disturbed.
